Copenhagen meets Shibuya.
20 taps. Zero compromise.
Mikkeller Tokyo isn't a bar — it's a declaration. Founded by the Danish gypsy brewer Mikkel Borg Bjergsø, this Shibuya outpost brings Copenhagen's uncompromising craft ethos to Japan. Twenty rotating taps pour everything from single-hop IPAs to barrel-aged imperial stouts. The industrial space — exposed pipes, raw concrete, copper fixtures — mirrors the beer: unpolished, honest, bold. Pair your pour with Danish smørrebrød or Japanese craft sausages.
「ビールは妥協しない」
— Beer doesn't compromise. Neither do we.

"The best craft beer bar in Asia, period. The tap list rotates constantly, the staff know every hop profile by heart, and the Shibuya location makes it the perfect pre-or-post chaos sanctuary."— RateBeer, 2025

"As a Copenhagen native, I was skeptical of a Mikkeller in Tokyo. I shouldn't have been. The tap list rivals any bar in Europe, the yuzu sour is genius, and the staff's beer knowledge is encyclopedic. A pilgrimage site."
"Perfect escape from Shibuya chaos. Twenty taps, all meticulously maintained. The Beer Geek Breakfast stout on a rainy Tokyo evening is one of life's great pleasures. Great food pairings too."
"Best craft beer in Japan, hands down. The rotating guest tap always has something rare and exciting. The industrial space feels authentic — not a theme park version of a brewery. Come for the beer, stay for the vibe."
